Seborrheic dermatitis

Intensive treatment of desquamating skin conditions.

It is enriched with an advanced papaya-based exfoliating system, able to remove scales and skin greasiness acting as a dermopurifying agent. 
Sulphurated amino acids also exert an effective sebum normalizing activity, preventing symptoms worsening.

Essential also the soothing and antioxidant activities, thanks to the selected ingredients able to act against the redness and the itching sensation, leaving the protective skin barrier constantly restored.

Indication

  • Indicated in the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema and in all states of excessive sebum production and skin desquamation of the body, face and scalp.
  • Ideal as an adjuvant to the pharmacological treatment of the above skin problems and as a topical maintenance product between subsequent pharmacological therapies.

Ingredients

  • Tiolisina® Complex 30 PF: sulfurated amino acids derivatives salified with lysine able to intervene in the excessive sebum production and in desquamation process.
  • Leniphenol: three balanced polyphenols, combine outstanding antioxidant properties with a deep soothing activity, for sensitive and stressed skin.
  • Bisabolol, Ginger Root Extract; Allantoina: anti-irritant and soothing properties. Reduce redness and itching. 
  • Papain, Lactic Acid: advanced exfoliating system for renewed skin. 
  • Avocado Oil: highly nourishing and moisturizing ingredient to soften and deeply restructure the skin.

Efficacy tests

In vitro test:
barrier effect: -17% IL-α

Clinical test on 20 volunteers with seborrheic dermatitis on the face (eyebrow, around the sides of the nose, seborrheic crown), after 4 weeks of treatment, applied once a day.

Evaluation of:
- Desquamation: - 88.8%
- Erythema: - 41.6%
- Seborrhoea: - 16.0%
- Itching: -92.0%
Instrumental evaluation:
- Statistically significant inprovement in the mean
basal values of skin sebum: - 15.2%

Application

Apply a thin film to the affected areas and massage until completely absorbed.
Use once a day or as needed for 4 weeks.
